François Arnaud a Cesare Borgia

Gorgeous hunk François Arnaud was born on July 5, 1985 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as François Barbeau, and was chosen to play Cesare Borgia in the 2011 Showtime TV series called The Borgias.  This was anticipated to run to four series, but, sadly, after the third series in 2013 it was deemed simply too expensive to produce the final series, and even a proposed two-hour one-off finale was cancelled for the same reason.  The lavish production standards gained many nominations and awards, and in particular you will be impressed by the costumes, designed by Gabriella Pescucci.  Cesare Borgia had an outstanding array of authentically designed male 15th century costumes, and the same could be said of all members of the cast.  In particular, though, this man caught my eye when he wore his black leather hose and codpiece.  The codpiece could be changed depending on the rest of the outfit and setting,  but mostly it was also of black leather, often ornately decorated.  Cesare was a product of his time, when every sort of vice and corruption was common in the quest for power.  So The Borgias was not a series for the squeamish.  Below you will see a gif of François Arnaud in one of the magnificent leather outfits just described, and they are followed by some screencaps and further gifs and clips.  And finally, there's a selection of publicity pics featuring the main characters in the drama.

Here are the screencaps:

Below are some further gifs featuring François Arnaud in his black leather hose and codpiece!

Here are some video clips from which the above gifs are taken.
