What's in a Speedo?

I suppose there will be few reading this blog who would not agree that a well-built man in a speedo pushing out a good bulge is going to be sexually attractive. Many (but not all) gay men are particularly turned on by speedos, even without the muscle, and sometimes even without the bulge! I think a speedo is one of the sexiest male garments ever invented, and its attraction is only made stronger when you add muscle, good looks and an enticing bulge into the mix! As for the muscle, we can all, I hope, agree that a certain amount is desirable. To see how important this can be in gay porn, one only has to consider the popularity of the sites whose actors are often well-built, such as Sean Cody, Corbin Fisher, William Higgins and Bel Ami. For me this predisposition to muscle even extends to bodybuilders, as I am sure it does for many other of my readers. And the men who devote much of their lives building up their bodies cannot be unaware that they are frequently the object of gay men's admiration. Who, reading this page, hasn't jerked off to pictures or vid clips of bodybuilders going through their posing routines? In my case it was how I became aware of my sexuality, so the two are inextricably linked. So while this is definitely not a porn review, it does relate to vid clips of bodybuilders, and for me there is a very close sexual link.

 On to the meat! First up is Lawrence Hunt, whose muscle mass is simply spectacular, and matches completely the magnificent bulge he pushes out in his red posing pouch, which is a speedo to all intents and purposes! Don't shoot your load yet, as there are five of these studly specimens to look through, so pace yourself!!!

 Okay, if you haven't shot your load yet, you will certainly want to look through the next series of pics of one of bodybuilding's all-time greats, Bob Paris. He's openly gay, and came out at a time when it would certainly have raised a few eyebrows. He is not only beautifully built, but also incredibly handsome, with ruggedly alluring film-star good looks.

 Next up is Tony Pearson, the Michael Jackson look-alike of the bodybuilding world. He's also had a bit of cosmetic surgery to his nose, but other than that I am delighted to say he's not gone the way Michael did in pursuit of the (unattainable) goal of what he saw as perfect facial beauty. Tony looks just great, in all respects - good looker, amazing body and a bulge to die for!!! Many a celebrities could be seen strutting their stuff in sexy black leather back in the 1980s, and Tony was probably taking a leaf out of Michael Jackson's book when he appeared in black leather. He looked just stunning, and his leather jeans bulge wasn't half bad either!!!!

 Here's Tony strutting his stuff at Mr Olympia 1984. He's not only hugely muscled, but his package is probably as good as any gay man could ever wish for!!!

 Now we have Frank Zane, whose body was never less than god-like. Another great man in the hall of bodybuilding fame, he also pushed out a great, tightly packed bulge in his sexy speedos.

 This clip starts with a fairly early posing session, done informally on a green in a city somewhere.

 I've always had a soft spot (or shouldn't that be a hard spot?!) for Frank's beautifully sculpted bulge. Although it was great in his earlier years, he later learned how to show it to best advantage in speedos which were a closer fit, and where the fabric naturally creased to highlight the profile of the bulge, as in the final magazine cover above, for example. That look has always been a great turn-on for me! We see it on display in the vid clip below, although the resolution is not the greatest!

 To finish with, another legend, Serge Nubret. Perhaps one of the best bodies ever (although I must say I am no expert on such matters). Serge's muscles are stunning, and viewing his body for any length of time always gets me hard and ready to go!! Although he's also splendidly endowed, it's not always obvious in the more generous speedos he used to wear.
