Grey Speedo Boy was an Internet sensation when pics started appearing of this great looking guy in his grey team speedo. Here is a collection of all the pics I could get together. The first series are pics which have been cropped, all except two of them by me. The first one not by me has also been photoshopped: take a look at 023 which is clearly derived from 022 but it's had the logo of the team sponsors removed! I left that one in just for interest. The other one not cropped by me is the final pic of the cropped series, 043, for which I don't have the original big pic. Next there is an appendix (001 - 018) which consists of various pics of Grey Speedo Boy's teams and personal life, except for the first two which are morphed versions of a "blue" speedo boy and grey speedo boy twins!! I have not included various fake naked pics, in which I guess some guys have spent a happy hour or two removing the speedo and pasting in a nice hard dick, or even a floppy one! Yes, sure, that speedo is enticing, but for me that is its charm. So I'm happy to leave this cheerful young man covered by his speedo! Finally there are the original pics, 001 - 041, taken with a Canon EOS D60 on 18th September 2004, according to the information in the pic properties. Clearly my set of big pics is not complete, so if you have any big ones to add, or little ones that have been cropped from other big ones I don't have, I'd be glad to receive them!
Finally, (if you are still reading ...!) I hope you enjoy looking through this set as much as I did compiling it. Grey Speedo Boy must be a young man in his 20s by now - he certainly had a great looking body in 2004!!!

ReplyDeleteThese pictures caused a HUGE stir in the water polo community, meaning the youth water polo community, when these pics started appearing on gay sites/blogs that also had nude pics. Two new rules came from these pics, one directly, one indirectly.
ReplyDeleteThe direct rule was that in order to shoot pics in the pool area at a USA water polo game or high school game you had to be accredited as a photographer or a parent.
The indirect rule banned "deck changes", meaning had to use the locker room to change and not just a towel around your waist on deck. Although after the first year the officials stopped enforcing the rule and people do deck changes anyway.
Everything has gone back to normal. I’ve been to several games since this incident and the kids change on the deck and photographers aren’t targeted by the ‘angry mob’.

Delete@Lyxander You said he'd be in his 20s by now, more like his 30s. He looks about 17 in the pictures, so he'd be 34. He'd have to have been 13 at the time the pictures were taken to have been 29 in 2020 (when you published this on your Blog). Thanks for sharing this, by the way. Great blog!
ReplyDeleteAll the media hysteria this created and nothing changed. Taking photos at a public event is perfectly legal. The law Cameron Smyth authored, AB2104, died and it was never heard of again.
